Sydney Paper Crafts Festival

I'm so excited as the Sydney Paper Crafts Festival starts tomorrow. But the best part is that it's super close to me this year at Canterbury Racecourse. No more than a 10 min drive away.
Normally it's held in Penrith which is way west of Sydney just before you hit the mountains. I went there one year and had a super time with my craft mad friend Margaret. I say craft mad because you get there before the doors open and leave as they are closing.

I had a little accident last week (I slipped and tore my hamstring at the back of my left thigh)and I've been off work since so I didn't think I'd be able to make it. But it's improved so much over the last couple of days. Doctors were telling me 3 to 4 weeks before I'd be back to anything normal. I have the best bruise ever to prove something happened. You know how it is, if you can't see it, your not sure if people believe you. If you scare easily, don't go any further - here's a photo!
My work has been great about it. I work at a small private swimming centre so when someone is off it really effects the place as there's not a large number of people to cover for you.
